Can it Power/How Long Can it Power My Device
HomePower ONE
The HomePower ONE Backup Battery Power Station has 1002Wh capacity with 1000W power output. It will be more than sufficient to power your home office devices (laptops, desktops, monitors, Wi-Fi router, modem).
The HomePower ONE can also power up small to medium size home appliances (refrigerator, microwave, kettles, radiant heater, dishwasher) depending on the power wattages and voltage required. Usually, a small to medium size refrigerator takes 60-120W of power, and the HomePower ONE is able to provide 7 to 14 hours of running time for the refrigerator. You can also buy multiple HomePower ONE units for more backup power and flexibility.
Formula to calculate hours:
As a general rule of thumb, working time = 1002Wh X 0.85 / operating wattage of your device.
For example, if your device is 60W, the working time will be about 1002Wh X 0.85 / 60w=14.2hrs. Please note: the actual working time may vary from different usages and conditions. The total wattage output from the HomePower ONE should be under 1000 watts. If exceeded, the HomePower ONE will shut off automatically. Please check your device's specifications before use.
HomePower 2
The HomePower 2 has multiple output ports including 2x USB-A, 2x USB-C, 4x AC outlets, and a car outlet. It can charge and power crucial communication devices, home appliances, security devices, cameras, lighting, medical devices, tools, and more.

The AC outlets can charge and power devices that operate at less than 2200 Watts for the HomePower 2 - Plus, and less than 1800W for the HomePower 2 - Starter.
The total wattage output from the HomePower 2 should be under 2200 watts for the Plus, and 1800 watts for the Starter. If exceeded, the HomePower 2 will shut off automatically.
Please check your device's specifications before use.
Formula to calculate hours:
As a general rule of thumb, working time = battery capacity (Wh) X 0.85 / operating wattage of your device.
For example, if your device is 60W, with the HomePower 2 - Plus, the working time will be about 2060Wh X 0.85 / 60W=29.2hrs. Please note: the actual working time may vary from different usages and conditions. The total wattage output from the HomePower 2 should be under 1566W for the Starter or 2060W for the Plus. If exceeded, the HomePower 2 will shut off automatically.
Please note: the actual working time may vary from different usages and conditions.
HomePower ONE/2 PRO

The total wattage output from the HomePower PRO should be under 1200/2200W. If exceeded, the HomePower PRO will shut off automatically. Please check your device's specifications before use.
Additional Formulas:
Formula to calculate Watt-hour (Wh) to Amp-hour (Ah):
Wh / V = Ah, where V is the voltage.
For example with 1002Wh,
If you just use the AC outlets at 110V, the total Amp-hour will be 9.1 Ah.
If you just use the USB outlets at 5V, the total Amp-hour will be 200.4 Ah.
If you just use the car outlet at 12V, the total Amp-hour will be 83.5 Ah.
Formula to calculate watts:
The formula is (Amps)*(Voltage) = (Watts)
Difference Between Surge Power and Running Power
Starting watts aka “surge watts” or “peak watts” are the wattage needed to get a device running, or in other words, the work over time necessary to create momentum required by a device to run. A generator can provide this wattage temporarily, in a brief surge.
Running watts are the wattage needed to keep a device running, or in other words, the work over time necessary to keep its momentum from falling. A generator can provide this wattage continuously.
Are our Products Protected from an EMP?
Yes.
Can it Power the Whole House?

HomePower PRO
What accessories are available?
Extension cables for the SolarPanel 2 are available, and a wheel cart for the PRO Series will be available in Q4. We do not sell longer cables for the SolarPower ONE at the moment, but you can purchase a compatible cable from Amazon like the one we have linked here, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08J857M3C/
How Long Will it Last/How many recharges?
The HomePower ONE/2 will hold the charge for a minimum of one year after it's fully charged. We recommend using and recharging it every 6 months as the best practice to keep the product in good condition. Normal discharge rate is around 1% a week.
HP1: After 500 full cycles of recharging (from 0% to 100%), the battery will still be holding at least 80% of its original capacity.
HP2: After 800 full cycles of recharging (from 0% to 100%), the battery will still be holding at least 80% of its original capacity.
Pro: After 3000 full cycles of recharging (from 0% to 100%), the battery will still be holding at least 80% of its original capacity.
If you adopt the best recharging practice, i.e. recharging it before the battery level drops below 25%, the capacity loss rate will improve significantly. The battery will still be holding at least 90% to 95% of its original capacity after 500 cycles.
The solar panels should last up to 20 years before it starts losing efficiency.
We expect our products to last for a long time and you don't need to change the battery inside.
Geneverse is the only solar generator company on the market providing a 5-year warranty on our products. Others typically only offer a warranty up to 2 years. We intentionally back and stand by our product, and are proud to extend such a long warranty to all of our customers. We recommend in general to never buy an emergency power supply that offers less than a 5-year warranty, in fact only to buy an emergency power supply that offers at least a 5-year warranty.
HomePower PRO
Ultra-high efficiency LFP/ LiFePO4 (Lithium iron phosphate) batteries are extremely safe and provide a lifespan of over 3000 charge cycles
Can you replace the battery inside?
No
Will the AC outlets automatically turn on after complete discharge/during a power outage?
There is an on/off button to turn on and off the power of the AC outlets on the HomePower ONE/2 unit. The AC outlets on the HomePower ONE unit will NOT turn on the power automatically. You will need to press the button to turn on the power for the AC outlets. This design is for safety reasons.
With the PRO models you can use the mobile app to monitor and turn on the power supply remotely.
Why?
If it drains down to 50% and you don't turn it off manually, the power will stay. It only happens if it is completely discharged. If the unit is completely discharged, the AC outlets will be turned off to prevent undesired accidents from happening when the unit is being charged. However, you can turn it on again once the unit is being charged.
Can I charge my Geneverse while supplying power to other devices at the same time?
HomePower ONE and PRO
Yes! You can power other devices while the HomePower ONE/PRO recharges.
HomePower 2
Yes! The HomePower 2 can be recharged via the DC 8mm input ports (by solar or by car outlet) while powering up and charging other devices. When the HomePower 2 is being recharged via the AC 3-pin port, the DC outputs (USB-C, USB-A, car outlet) can still supply power output, but the four AC outlets can not supply power output.
Powering devices in different rooms?
Please see some recommendations below based on user feedback from our existing customers.
In an emergency situation or power outage, if you need to power up multiple devices at the same time, you can move all the devices that need power to one area and set up a temporary “power zone”. You can also set up a schedule to plan out the devices to power up one or a few at a time.
In some scenarios, you can also use extension cords if the different devices are within a certain distance.
Many families actually buy multiple units of our backup battery power station for more backup power and flexibility.
Can the PRO Series be linked and used together?
A lot of our customers buy multiple solar generators, each for use in different rooms. We have customers who want to link multiple units together, so we’re working on additional accessories to enable that, so this will be an option in the near future.
Can the HomePower ONE/2/PRO be used to charge an EV?
Yes but it depends on the make and the model of the car.
Why will my PRO unit not deplete to 0%?
This is a safety feature and the PRO series will not drop below 3% when it is depleted.
Where is it Made?
We are based in Fremont, California. Our products are designed in San Francisco, California but assembled overseas.
Please see our founder's story here: https://Geneverse.com/pages/about-us

Too expensive (HP2)
Geneverse offers a solution that is one-tenth (1/10) of the cost of its industry competitors. An investment in Geneverse products has no subsequent usage cost, meaning no additional gas or fuel is required.
A whole-house backup battery power system by Tesla or other suppliers will cost an average of $25k-$50k, for just the battery system. For installation of solar panels on the roof, on average is another $30-$50k. Installing this kind of system for your household can be anywhere from $50k-$100k, making it difficult for the majority of households to afford.
